Hey guys, whats the difference in a part called a reproduction and called a replacement? I'm looking at door jamb switches and the reproduction costs more than the replacement. It sounds like a reproduction is not made by the OEM but a replacemnt sounds like not the original but something that will work..any thoughts? Tom

yes I was leaning that way thanks Raymond!
reproduction is made very close to the oridginal but materials are probablly different and mfg. is different. A replacement could be the same thing or just something that may need modifications to fit where the org. was and will work. Need to look at the specifications eithere way. I would lean towards reproduction myself.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
