I have been re-ripping all of my music (as Apple Lossless) and just got to the Chris Isaak 'Forever Blue' album and remembered the 64 Caddy on the cover. I think I can narrow it down to 1 of 2 body styles, and see a cool option on the car but also see something blatantly missing. I assumed maybe it was for copyrights, etc. Anyway, if anyone knows more about this car chime in.

Looks to be a 4 window sedan. Too bad the label company took the crest & V off the hood. Did the 63 and 63 body style have different rear view mirror stems?
BTW, how is OPGI coming along with the passenger door mirror?
Mistyped the body style. Meant to say"62 and 63 body style.
This car has the rare RH door mirror, and hood V and Crest have been removed as noted by Russ, probably for licensing issues? From view down the rear window looks like a 6239 4 window Series 62, or a 6339 4 window Sedan Deville body style. Russ, the adjustment knob at the bottom were different between 1963 and 1964, and both were different from the Eldo/Fleetwood (optional on other body styles). Below, in lower left is a picture of a Fleetwood/Eldo mirror with long adjustment knob, and in upper right a 64 mirror with standard adjustment mob. Note, that the Eldo/Fleetwood mirror was cast metal instead of stainless and often pitted and rusted like the one below.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
