I have just completed and posted the March 2013 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter newsletter to our Newsletter Page. You can also access it by clicking on March 2013 Newsletter.
This newsletter includes my director's message, chapter updates, website improvements, links to upcoming car related events, and a tech tip on removing the oil dipstick tube without damaging it.
In addition, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1963 Cadillac, we have a member spotlight and story by Ingo Degenhardt from Germany, and spotlight the 1963 Sixty Two Series with scans from the original 1963 Cadillac Brochure and Dealer Data Book.
I hope to have the next newsletter out mid to late April, and plan to focus on the 1963 DeVilles, so get your stories and pictures submitted as we continue our Golden Anniversary Celebration of the 1963 Cadillac.

Be sure and check out our March Newsletter if you have not already done so. This month we spotlighted the 1963 Series 62 body styles. Up next month we will spotlight the DeVilles.
Part of the "rolling out" of the March 2013 Newsletter and our focus on the 1963 Cadillac is our newLiterature tab up top in the header which replaces the Serviceman Bulletins Tab.
We will included original Cadillac Brochures, Dealer Data Books and other literature as we go forward. This link works two ways: You can click on the link to go to the Literature Page with links to other documents, or just hover over the link with your mouse to see a list of links to click on and go straight to the page. Right now I have started loading the 1963 Dealer Data Book starting with the 62 series, since that is the body series we will spotlight first. I should have the complete Cadillac Brochure (the small one, not the huge one) loaded in the next couple of days.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
