Tim Coy, Art Director of the CLC Self Starter needs pictures of specific 1963 Body Styles to include in the Self Starter. I have already provided him what I had on file, but he still needs others.
Please see his list below and email your HI RES pictures directly to him at tim.coy@adtypeanddesign.com. His email can handle attachments up to 75MB in each message, so they can send huge photos if you have them.
See message below:
This year in the August issue, The Self-Starter marks the 50th
anniversary of the 1963 Cadillac. This issue will feature stories about the
1963 lineup, a 1963 Eldorado and my 1963 Six-Window Sedan de Ville, Style 6329
(the cover car!).
Our archives are pretty bare when it comes to ’63s, as obviously we don’t feature many and few are for sale. I am in need of photos of the following models in the next few days:
* Six-Window Series 62 Sedan, Style 6229
* Four-Window Series 62 Sedan, Style 6239
* Park Avenue Sedan de Ville, Style 6389
* Series 75 Nine-Passenger Fleetwood Sedan, Style 6723
* Series 75 Nine-Passenger Fleetwood Imperial Sedan, Style 6733
I have plenty of photos of the other body styles.
Steve and I would rather use CLC member cars than the color drawings in the brochure (which everyone’s probably tired of seeing.
Not all photos submitted will be selected, but those not used will be posted in the CLC website’s photo gallery Thanks, Tim

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
