Today I won the Best in Show Cadillac award at the Tarheel Tigers Car Show in Cary, NC. It's always nice to win, but the real fun is always just hanging out with our Eastern NC CLC Region members and checking out their Cadillacs! Above is a picture with my award after just getting home on this Hot Day!

Thanks guys. It was a fun day but glad to have a few free weekends coming up. For more pictures from our event check out this photo album on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.729855423821592.107374185...
Note, my main competition for the day was my buddy Larry Deal's 1960 Cadillac seen above ... the judges walked back and forth reviewing both cars several times! Larry won 1st place for the 1960 to 1969 Cadillac and I won the overall "Best of" Cadillac Award. I don't take the awards too seriously and just consider it icing on the "nice day cake", but do get nervous when I get lumped in with the 59's and 60's! They just scream Cool!!!!
Thats a nice feather in your cap.
Tony, you have a way with words! Ha Ha. I like sharing good stories and events, and of course trophies and wins are nice. I have to confess that I often have ulterior motives and have to admit one reason I share our CLC Region (and the Grand National) meet-ups, is to hopefully encourage you all to join up with your local CLC Region (or our Chapter at the GN), or local car clubs for that matter, and drive, and show and enjoy your cars. It is fantastic to ride around getting the grins and thumbs up from strangers, but it is even better to go hang out with like-minded Cadillac enthusiasts that share that same appreciation that eventually become your Cadillac Family.... much like we are here! Perhaps some of you will be attending some events this summer. If you do share here and/or write me up a story and we can include in a future newsletter!
Very nice Jason ! Looking forward to your coupes GN debut next year where I will get to see all your hard work you put into your car ! Congratulations !

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…
