1964 Disc Brake Conversion
I've had the car for 3 months now and I'm really happy. I've been spending every night in the garage (and that's fine with the wife). Originally had problems with front wheel cylinders but replaced those and all is well. Brakes are working good but not good enough for the Mrs.
Thinking about a front disc conversion. Looking at OPGI, Scarebird and CaddyDaddy.
Anyone have suggestions ? I want to stick with my stock wheels (I've read this is sometimes an issue)

I did Abs Power Brakes on one of my 63CDV! Really easy to install and works just fine. I think is better to spend that few extra $ and get front and back replaced by discs though that way you can replace bearings and oil in the differential which is only 55 years young :)
however I am about to rebuild the brake system and the suspension I’m my other 63CDV and planning on keeping it stock, meaning drum brakes.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
