The belt trim below the back window where the roof line meets the back cowl on my 63 is composed of Stainless steel strips and the corners are made of pot metal. The pot metal on mine are pretty badly pitted. Does anyone know if these corner pieces were made of stainless steel? If so where might i find them. See the picture of this Cadillac my father gave me before he passed away. I presently have it with a body shop in Northern California.

Can't wait to see it after a bucket of suds and a once over.
I know the long lower belt trim between the qtr is stainless and usually holds up well. I cannot remember if the corners are pot metal with chrome on the Series 62 Coupe. Yours looks corroded but hard to tell. I do have that long very rear piece, but believe I am out of the 1963/64 Series 62 Coupe rear qtr belt but will double check. Just fyi, this is different trim use don the Coupe de Ville which has a raised satin area instead of the double flat ridge seen on the series 62 as seen below:
I have the long strip that you show. But yes I need those corner pieces and yes mine have that satin finish with chrome along the edge. I presently have this baby in a body shop. I am also looking for tail light bezels that are not badly pitted etc.,
I checked but am out of the rear qtrs. Also out of the rear tail lamp escutcheons (bezels) but can put you down for these or any other parts on my Wait List. Just email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com. I just put 2 really nice rear bezels in the hands of someone that had been on my Wait List.
I have some of the 63 tail light bezels. email me at russ85747@hotmail.com

I meant to make this a priority over the winter and didn't get that far. I've tried to source all the parts individually, but that is a daunting task. Partly because I don't want to miss any…Continue

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
