hi ,
been a while, had to make the trek to MS in the diesel, and while traveling, the injectors went out,, what a major expense, dealer want 7k to put in.. i saved about 4k doing them myself,, no easy chore for sure....but,,
i did see a eldo convert burritz get up to about 120k, i was nodding off and didnt notice if it sold at that or was still bidding,, but it was sure a nice looking car,
a 62 convert got up to about 60+ i think,,, it also looked very nice,, i kinda like that low panel rear fin,,
anyway, hope all is well,,

Did you get some pictures? If so post and share.
Also, just a nitpick, but there is a 1963 Eldorado Biarritz, and a 1964 Fleetwood Eldorado but no such animal as a 64 Eldorado Biarritz. Your message references a 62 convertible... so it would be interesting to see what was there.
Shame on Mecum ... but it was and still is a common mistake to refer the 1964 Eldorado as the Biarritz.
Might want to check out this Help Page topic:

I agree with Tony on the fender skirts on a 64 Eldo's.(No offence meant to any owners of one)
The full fender skirt is the way to go, but I understand Cadillac's theory on them)
As for the continental kits, oh dear, you'd rather have a huge boil on ya scrotum. The late 50's Thunderbird get away with them.... just.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
