Here is our 7th look back at 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter member Cadillacs at the 2024 CLC Grand National in Gettysburg - FRANK & DONNA NAPKORA'S 1963 COUPE DE VILLE.
Charter Chapter Members Frank & Donna 1963 Coupe de Ville was driven from their relatively nearby home in Hughestown, Pennsylvania (150 miles away), but what set this trip apart from many others attending the Grand National is the fact that Donna drove the '63 while Frank pulled the "5th Wheel Camper". When I original asked which hotel they were staying Frank replied "we will be staying at artillery ridge campground very near the national park".
Back to this car, it is a real looker, especially the interior which just blew me away when I opened the door. This is also the only Chapter Member car I was able to get some decent interior pictures, and needless to say I was drooling when I tucked my head inside to take the pictures at the bottom. I told Frank we absolutely have to do a full newsletter feature on this beauty!
Nicely Optioned! Peaking inside I saw this Cadillac was equipped with Tilt Column, Cruise Control, Guidematic Headlight Autodimming, Rear Window Defogger, Power Door Locks, AM/FM, AC, Soft Ray Window Tinting and 6 Way Power Seats. While AC, 6 Way Power Bench Seats and Window tinting were found on a large % of the deVilles since they are part of basic accessory groups; the other items were individually selected items for the build. The rear window defogger in particular seems to be quite rare, at least from the 63's and 64's I have seen over the years.

Frank and Donna,
Your 63 Coupe de Ville is really beautiful! I love the color, and the interior is something really special. Something to be proud of!

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
