Back 10 years ago I had a master break leak and went to Pep Boys and bought a replacement.  The replacement is from a 1968 (I think) with a 2 bolt vacuum booster. Worked for 10 years, and it has a life time guarantee so no complaints, except. I now want to go back to the original part a 4 bolt Delco unit.  I have a fresh rebuilt master cylinder (stainless steel sleeved – primo stuff) but I went to install it and I have the 2 bolt vacuum booster, not the 4 bolt I need.

Any idea where I can but a perfect 4 bolt vacuum brake booster??

Try ebay, or send yours out to get rebuilt.  Your rebuilt 4 bolt master cylinder will bolt up to the 2 bolt booster. Just use the top 2 studs.

I do not have a core, do you have a core?  Because I don't have a core, I am not exactly sure  what (Cardon number or Delco number) is correct

I have a core. Shoot me an email;  russ85747@hotmail.com    I am currently traveling for work, but plan on being back up into the parts this Tuesday.

I'll just need an email with what you want and your zip code for a shipping quote.

My reservoir is a little low. Any recommendations on my purchase of refill fluid? There are likely new fluids and I’d like to buy the right product. Thanks. Continue

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
