Hi Jason,
I am looking to purchase a front fender splash guard bracket for my 1964 Series 62 - passenger side. I saw your post from a few years back with the picture you posted. Anywhere I can get this part?

Is this the front lower bumper end splash apron bracket that is behind the splash apron seen below? It runs diagonally across the front lower bumper end and has one splash apron attachment point in center for bottom section of the splash apron.
If so, let me know left or right? If not, let me know which splash apron with a picture or more descripion.
Hi Jason,
THANK YOU for sending me the picture of the apron. That is the exact bracket you described and it is for the passenger side of my 1964 Series 62. If you have any leads it would be most appreciated! Thank you again. Dennis DiBari
I checked and have one right side that has some corrosion but solid enough to support the masticated rubber splash apron. You could also use it as a template to make a better one out of a piece of new steel.
Price is $10 ($7.50 with Chapter Discount). If you need cadmium plated original 2 bolts and 2 nuts to secure to lower bumper end add $5. I can ship for $10 for a total of $17.50 (bracket only) or $22.50 bracket and fasteners.
Hi Jason,
I want to thank you for researching this for me and I would like to purchase the bracket and fasteners for the $20.50. Please let me know the payment arrangements and I'll provide you with this immediately! Thanks for looking into this. I know you have been on the road the past few weeks!

Hi Jason,
I don't have Pay Pal, so if you can send an invoice, I can pay with credit card or check for the items. I'll send you an email with some information if that helps.
Thank You, Dennis

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
