New 63/64 Print Ads Link in Header & Future Website Direction Regarding Documents

I have moved my hi res print ads scans to a Box.com Folder which you can access in the header with the 63/64 Print Ads link.   If you follow the folder you will see subfolders for 1963 Color Print Ads, 1964 Color Print Ads, 1963-1964 Cadillac Black & White & Other Print Ads, and will add more folders as scan and move ads.

I will also start to move other documents, pictures, etc. to Box.com folders in a similar fashion.  The reason is twofold:
- I have better control of the documents with the powerful features Box.com provides.  I already save our newsletters there and one of the cooler features is version control. That means I upload a document, create a link, and I can continue to update the document in place and the link never changes. That means I can discreetly updated my mistakes and never have to repost or share anything new. In programming (my background) version control is a must.

- I can more easily share content via the links that allow me to set documents as public, private, password protected, view only, downloadable, etc.

- I can more easily port our data via links into any future websites, social media platforms. etc.  For 10+ years we have been on the old Ning 2.0 platform and I get pestered by Ning to upgrade to Ning 3.0. I use it for our Carolina Region website and while some things are similar It DOES NOT HAVE PHOTO ALBUMS.  That means we lose the Help stuff I have saved in Photo albums. I have no clue when we might have to migrate, but we will lose some of the content. Forums should port over. Blogs (which we use to use and makes up a lot of help pages) will not. And those photo albums will not port over. You can insert pictures but no photo albums.

I have been kicking the tire with my Personal Pro Box.com account and think we need to migrate things we want to keep for the long haul ... just like the newsletters. There is nothing preventing me from putting Serviceman Bulletins, Owners Manuals, etc out there ... and will do that but it will take time.

Just to note when you go in to the Print Ad subfolders you can select Grid view to preview the pictures. Click the box again and it goes back to list view.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
