i have a leak when it rains on my passenger side wdw.  my rubber floor matt has water on it after a hard rain, i have tried to track it using a hose to follow the water intrusion.. the rubber that is there is clearly dry and cracking.and there are some gaps,, i tried to temp fix it with some gasket maker and sort of seal the cracks, but it didnt work out too well.. made a mess,,

the part i am looking for is the rubber that fits into the roof, and when the door is closed, the window fits into that rubber, thus, creating the seal to keep the water out,, at least i hope thats were its coming from.

Is it possible that it could be getting behind or under the roof rail gutter on the top of the roof and finding a way in from there, i dont know the configuration of those metal trims, and how they keep water out or if there is a seal in there somewhere as well

is that part called the 'Roof Rail rubber" or roof rail set,  not the vent window seal but the one that runs the entire window opening..that stuff is high and i dont want to order the wrong set..

Yes Kim, it's called roof rail seal/weatherstrip. They also make the whole car look so much sharper!

Rubber the right way has a door and window kit. Get the kit it's cheaper. I had the same problem I had a kit installed and no more leaks and very little wind noise.

i spoke to them,, Rubber right way that is,, going to order a set soon

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
