OK.. time for trivial. Kinda related to another post some of us have been following, name the Top 5 States with the Most New Cadillac Registrations in the 1963 Calendar year.
This is for all new Cadillac registrations regardless of body style or model year, but would obviously mainly cover new 1963 and 1964 Model Cadillac registrations.
Whoever lists the states in correct order 1st gets the Cigar!

Tony, 1st two are correct, 3rd one in your list is on the list but not the correct order, Detroit, is a city... not a state. So.. that means so far we have
California
New York
...
...
...
I'll guess California, New York, Texas, New Jersey , and Pennsylvania. Last two because of union jobs back then.
Roberts moves us closer by placing New Jersey in the correct order, however, Texas and PA are not in the top 5... but are in the top 10.
Here is what we have so far with totals registered for those names so far:
California - 20,275
New York - 17,744
...
New Jersey 10,251
...
Its ok Tony, we're all use to that these days.
TX & FL not in the top 5, but are in the top 10. Here is where we stand:
California - 20,275
New York - 17,744
...
New Jersey 10,251
...
OK Tony...here's a hint... if Detroit is a city, and we are looking for a state, ... then perhaps the state Detroit is in, might be on the list. Dunno... but a possibility, Just Sayin'!
i'll try California ,New York , New Jersey , Michigan, and hmm Ohio.
As noted earlier, NJ is 4th, Michigan is in the Top 5.. so is it 3 or 5?, but Ohio is not.. but does make the top 10.
So, this is still the best we have:
1. California - 20,275
2. New York - 17,744
3. ???
4. New Jersey 10,251
5. ???
... with Michigan somewhere in the top 5!
1. California - 20,275
2. New York - 17,744
3. Texas - Approx. 12,000
4. New Jersey - 10,251
5. Michigan - Approx. 8,900
How close am I Boss?
...
1.California
2. New York
3. Connecticut
4. New Jersey
5. Michigan
50. Indiana ( Had to throw that in because I have seen three 63-64 Cadillacs since moving here 13 years ago)
Robert had filled in #5 prior and # 3 is still incorrect. Also, hold onto your guess for #50... I think you might know what the next trivia question might be!
So looking at list below... and I will give you the next 5, what state is #3:
1. California 20,275
2. New York 17,744
3. ????????
4. New Jersey 10,251
5. Michigan 9,922
6. Pennsylvania 9,800
7. Ohio 8,294
8. Florida 8,075
9. Texas 7,650
10. Massachusetts 3,920
OK. Kevin is 1st to list 4 of the top 5 in correct order. Michigan is #5 so we are still looking for #3. Also, I didn't expect guesses on exact #'s so I will fill those in.
Here is what we have so far:
1. California - 20,275
2. New York - 17,744
3. ???
4. New Jersey 10,251
5. Michigan 9,922

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
