I guess ever one had their first encounter with a Cadillac that got them interested in owning one of these beautiful cars. Mine was when I was about 13 years old and I got a ride in a 56 Coupe De Ville. It was also blue with a white top and blue and white interior. I never had  been in a car that rode like that, it was incredible especially for a 13 year old boy. It took me 5 more years and I bought my first Caddy, it was a 63 convertible that was blue with blue leather and a blue top. My favorite car of all time! Still have a picture of it with me and my wife sitting up on top of the front seats with the top down. Great car!

I was pulled hard and heavy toward Cadillacs as a lifelong Elvis fan... well known for his love for Cadillacs. Tried to find a 50's Cadillac, and ended up with a 1964 Coupe DeVille on Nov 13, 1996!  Here's a picture of me on that day down at my dad's in Fayetteville, NC showing it off!

Phil emailed me last night to tell me he won! Thanks to those that voted for supporting our CLC brother!

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
