Summer 2017 1964 Turbo Hydramatic Transmission SALE - $125!

Below is my running ad for the 1964 Turbo Hydramatic transmissions. This is one item I have many, several from known running cars, some pulled with good fluid, and believe would be good, others great for parts.  I would like to reduce inventory and for a limited time am putting up for sale for the incredible price of $125, including torque converter, for anyone can come and pick up or arrange transport. I can also deliver within a reasonable distance in the south east for a  modest fee.

If you need a good transmission to install and go, or just need one for parts or a spare this is the deal of the year!  As noted below, I am very close to Interstates 95, 40, and 85, and welcome east coast travelers.
See below for more details and shoot me an email to jasonedge@nc.rr.com if interested in one of these one year only 1964 Turbo Hydramatics!

1964 Turbo Hydramatic Transmissions - $175  <-- Click for more Pictures

I have over a dozen of the one-year-only 1964 Turbo Hydramatic transmissions.  I have set several aside, including the one pictured, that were either running and shifting good when removed, or fluid coloring, etc., indicate it is a good transmission.  These should be fine to install as is but WILL NEED new seals, filter, gasket and fluid!  The price on these are $175 and includes the torque converter.  If you do not need the torque converter the price is $150.  If you want a transmission only for parts, I sell the other "parts only" transmissions for $75 "as is".
NOTE: Per parts policy I do not offer refunds but will provide a two month replacement warranty provided you cover shipping / transport if the transmission does not shift and perform as expected when installed.

Due to size and weight, pickup or shipping will be up to the customer. www.EngineShipping.com is a good source for transporting these, as they have picked up many engines and transmissions for my customers over the years.  The local UPS store has also been a good, if not pricier, resource for shipping.

My Address is 104 New Rand Rd, Garner, NC 2752, which is about 10 miles SE of Raleigh, NC and is only 2 miles form Interstate 40, 22 miles from Interstate 95, and 32 miles from Interstate 85 as they cross through NC.  If traveling through NC and need a transmission you can save a lot on shipping if you stop by in person. That way you can also pick out the one of your choice!

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
