Convertible bumper jack

My car lacks the mechanism or spring needed to hold the jack in the storage slot on the right side of the trunk.  Anyone have a picture of the item I should find?Continue

"Jason, are the wooden blocks a factory component? Mine also came with the black wood block for the tire block.  It is mega hot here this week. Perhaps repainting my bumper jack is something easy I can accomplish this week......"

"There should be clips in each end inside the opening as seen in my picture below. If yours are missing I have plenty along with the screws that attach them. "

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
