Is there a tire that is best for a 1964 Series 62. Just getting it road worthy after about 18 years in a shed!!

Factory A/C troubleshooting ‘64 series 62

My mechanic is working on my A/C. Factory Comfort Control with the dial thermostat. He says the clutch engages, when bypassed, blower motor works, when bypassed. It holds compression. He did replace the compressor already. So he thinks it is some of the electronic connections behind the controls. My assumption is too that he has checked vacuum lines too and will replace if needed. Vacuum has been good in other areas. …See More

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
