Have a question for everyone

Was informed on Friday that the frame for my 1963 Sedan DeVille was on its way and that this summer would be it's final voyage before it makes the trip to the salvage yard. The car has always been a project for me and I enjoy the looks it gets from people that have never seen such a land yacht before. So my question that is being posed is this, is it possible to buy another frame for the Caddy Sedan from someone like Mr. Edge and mate it to the body I have or is best to keep this one for…

Question

The other night on my journey home my 1963 Sedan Deville with the 390 began to run rough. Pulled into the Hess gas station over on Route 31 in Clinton to look at it and see what the problem was and check all the fluids of the car. It was down about a quart of oil so I topped that off and all the other fluids checked out fine. When I started Flo back up to head home it ran a little better but good lord did it smoke something fierce out the driver side exhaust pipe. This has happened before…

Dash removal

Posted by Jake Mickley on October 9, 2019 at 12:06am 9 Comments

Hello everyone,

On a 63 CDV, if a guy wanted to remove the entire dash to get all the metal painted, and do some other things behind there, how would he go about doing that?  I checked here and the shop manual, but can't find a complete guide.

As always, and help or direction is appreciated.  Thanks!
