We have had a Weekly Online Chat on our website (www.6364cadillac.com) the past two Sunday's at 6pm EST (eastern) / 3pm PST (pacific) / 11pm UK with limited participation.  The first week we had maybe 8 or 10 online and this past Sunday about 3 or 4...maybe 5 total.

Since a few of us have had a chance to try it out, I wanted to ask everyone if there is a better time that might bring in a few more members.Things I considered for choosing Sunday at 6pm Eastern were as follows:

- Saturdays always seem to be very busy for most .
- Many attend church services on Sunday the first part of the day.
-  There is an 3 hr time difference from West Coast to East Coast in US, and 8 hr difference from West Coast to the U.K, and 9 or more hours to other European countries.

With that said, Let me know which times you might prefer from the following Sunday Times:

a)  3pm EST / 12noon PST / 8pm UK
b)  4pm EST / 1pm PST / 9pm UK
c)  5pm EST / 2pm PST / 10pm UK
d)  6pm EST / 3pm PST / 11pm UK
e)  7pm EST / 4pm PST / 12 midnight UK

Other options:
x)  Saturday Chat? If so what time?
y)  UK Specific Chat?  That is have one earlier in the day for UK members and those in the US available and another one later in the day for the US members that can't get online early in the day.
z)  no scheduled chat? We just see who is online and jump in and chat as we like...which is an option now anyway.

Chatting is one of those things I can either take or leave but it can be fun and productive if enough people are involved. I thought of opening up the chat features as a way for us to have real time conversation with each other, sort of like a phone conversation where you have that immediate back and forth in a more relaxed atmosphere and get to know each other.  For me it's an opportunity to get immedate questions and feedback on the website, chapter, etc. I am always open to suggestions and love to hear from everyone.

So...if you feel you would like to see a weekly chat continue, please provide feedback and let us know what works best for you.

thanks, Jason.

David and Craig, thanks for the feedback. I think  6pm should work for a good % of us but just wanted to open it up to see if we a large # looking at other times. I think 6pm will be the consensus. David, I really appreciate the nice words regarding our group and of course agree 100%!

Just to add, another option we might consider would be something like say an 8pm EST and then an  8pm PST time as an agreed time to meet upin the evenings if someone is around and wants to chat.

With 573 members if we just agree on a set evening chat time at 8pm EST and then 8pm PST it might be a good option. For use on the East Coast we would have 2 chances (8pm & 11pm EST) and those on the West Coast also (8pm and 5pm PST).

Just throwing things out to see if they stick. :-)

Russ, That is understood. What is your preference?

Thanks Mark, and it is definitely understood that there will be many weeks that some of us (including myself) cannot make it, and just trying to find a good time to put it out there if anyone is available.

Porbably 6PM EST does still work best for me, I was just still on the road from traveling last Sunday.  I will try to do better next Sunday.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
