For My Dad.... "Dear Father, I've got your Photograph"

I lost my dad 6 years ago today to a senseless Catheritization gone bad, but remember and miss him everyday. He was a HUGE influence on my fascniation with cars, and a BIG help in getting my hobby with 1963 and 1964 Cadillacs off the ground.

I created a slideshow and posted on my YouTube page which you can also see below. I know your father's influenced many of you in your affections for cars and Cadillacs and thought I would share.

I can't remember the last time I cried as much but it was probably when working on Caddy and things weren't going well LOL.Great job! I like your Father Day idea too.

Most of my pictures with him are pre digital but in time want to get all of them scanned in sometime. Perhaps around Father's day we should share "dad" stories and pictures and perhaps include in the June Newsletter.

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
