For Sale - 1963/1964 Valve Covers: Cleaned, Bead Blasted, primed - $40 each or $75 a pair

I just posted a picture of 17 of my valve covers I had taken to machine shop to be vatted, and bead blasted.  I primed all but 4 with Rustoleum Hi Temp Engine Primer, and primed the last 4 with VHT Engine Primer which Auto Zone seems to carry now instead of the Rustoleum Engine Paints. I had never used VHT paint and it seemed to go on a really nice..maybe as good as the Rustoleum.

I've got about $7.50 invested in each valve cover at the machine shop not to mention my paint and time priming and think $40 each or $75 a pair is a great price and time saver for those of you that need a nice ready to paint set of valve covers.

I also have several cans of 1949 to 1976 Cadillac Blue engine paint by Color Rite that I had ordered through USA Parts when Bill HIrsch was out this past year, and would paint the cover for you for $10 each cover. The Color Rite paint is a tad darker blue than the Bill Hirsch blue.  If you want painted with the Bill Hirsch Paint I would paint 2 coats for $20 each cover. I will wait 7 days to cure before I ship any painted covers.

If interested email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com with ship to address.

Click Here for the to see them on my FB  Parts Page. I have also inserted a picture below.

ps..I found about 10 more valve covers in another storage bin so have plenty more!

Here was the example painted with the Bill Hirsch Cadillac Blue Engine Paint:

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
