Happy New Years to All of our 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter and Website Members!

I had a quiet New Year's with my wife Cheryl having to work, so I hooked up the 2nd DropCam Pro facing the other direction over the garage deck and side yard, and had Cheryl online at midnite via her iphone from work. With the drop cam she can see us and zoom around, and speak but when she speaks the recorded video drops sound. Check our quaint New Years Eve out with me on the Garage Deck and Cheryl at work talking to us via her iphone in this clip....of course this new technology will find its way more and more into our website as we move forward....here's that quaint New Year's Eve Clip (You can see two of my Parts Shed over to the left...so I'm keeping this Cadillac Related! Ha Ha

That's a large stop light wedged in the corner between the two parts sheds. It's one of the LARGE  major insection size lights and had 3 140watt GE bulbs that would light up the block when I first got it. I had to tone it down with 40 watt bulbs!

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Vintage Air AC

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

accumulator dryer

Who rebuilds original AC  accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year ,  There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A    What  is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
