ON THE ROAD FROM NC TO SAN ANTONIO SEPT 26 TO OCT 4

I will be making a road trip with my Escalade EXT and can deliver large items such as doors, windshields, THM transmissions, etc. for a $100 delivery fee ($50 for Chapter Members). If you are in route between NC and San Antonio and need something big I may have, give me a shout at jasonedge64@outlook.com. I will be making one overnight stop near Atlanta, an another near the LA/TX border.

NOTE: I will stop taking parts orders at Noon Sept 24 and will resume when I return on Oct 5.
Again, if you need something let me know.

Made the long drive from my uncle's in Orange, Texas  to my house in Garner, NC yesterday in one 16 1/2 hour, 1,116 mile drive, leaving at 5:30 am his time and pulling in the driveway at 11pm.
This entire trip from NC to Atlanta, to Jackson, MS, to Orange, TX to San Antonio, then back to Orange and then the long drive to NC yesterday was a total of 2,936 miles. Yes, I am ready to be home!  We inspected 3 hotels for a potential 2028 CLC Reunion & Board Meeting in Jan 2028 and should be signing a contract soon. I just love the San Antonio Riverwalk area and think this will be a great place for the 2028 Meetup.  Contract was also just signed for the 2028 CLC Grand National in Dayton, Ohio.  That means we starts planning 2029 next!

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Vintage Air AC

Posted by Chase on March 21, 2024 at 5:55am 0 Comments

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

accumulator dryer

Posted by CHRIS CARLSON on December 6, 2023 at 10:54am 0 Comments

Who rebuilds original AC  accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year ,  There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A    What  is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
