1963 390 upper heater core hose
Hello, My 63 convertible is a low mileage (34k) original car so while I've done some basics, like replacing radiator hoses, belts, and a few gaskets; I've been trying to leave things as is as much as possible. My heater core hose was original and had a bit of the factory blue paint over spray on it. This is the one that is routed over the top of the valve cover on the passenger side. Welcome Ken! I read in your chapter email that you picked up a 63 convertible (Ken is head of the CENTRAL TEXAS CLC Chapter).

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
