Here is our 4th look back at 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter member Cadillacs at the 2024 CLC Grand National in Gettysburg - ROBERT SCHLES' 1964 ELDORADO.
Robert's Eldorado was featured in our November 2023 Newsletter which you can check out by Clicking Here. Robert won 3rd place Primary, not to mention our "Hard Luck Award" at the Chapter Meet-Up due to having to install the rebuild engine three time this past year! Check out the article for details.

Jason, It was a fun Grand National with lots of great cars. Thanks for posting pictures of my Eldorado!
The hard luck award is hanging in a place of honor in my garage.
Goes good with all that other cadmium bling!
Robert,
I saw your car at the Grand National last month and it is beautiful! It was nice meeting you in person at the meeting.

Nice meeting you too at the chapter meeting. I hope to see you next year in Murfreesboro.
Thanks Rob. Hope to make it. Again, after all your hard work, it's a great car!

Pretty car. Great color! It'll be worth all the hard work along the way.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
