Well, after couple hundred miles, cutting drums, replacing, everything seemed good, no more of the vibration or super hot brakres or hub cap. Until today. I was going to take a 60 mile ride, further observing engine from prior discussions, when i coukd start to feel the low grade pull or slight vibration. Got a little firther up the road, 55 to 65, got worse. Turned it around, limped it home.. felt hub, blazing hot, same one, driver rear. Others, were just touch above ambient but not "hot". Checked for leaks at brake lines, or axle, no fluids.
Got under hood , cked MC. No apparent fluid los since last time. Dug further, noticed some maybe fresh fluid from hose/attachment at booster, running down to the hose that runs from booster to underneath the carb. And it drips from there to metal brake line running to rear. Picture attached.
Could this somehow be causing the brake on that side to stick. Is the just a gasket of some sort I can just undo and replace?
What are rsmifications of leak at this location, repair wise, drive wise

Yeah Tony, that's correct, but I didn't realize when I made the post this morning, that Kim had new brake hoses already fitted...... my mistake.
Knowing that now, i'm thinking along what Russ suggested, especially with the adjuster backed off so much.

Ok, pulled apart, got out manual. Checking springs, accd. To book. [Picture attached], spring end is on top of anchor on passenger side.
On my car, on driver side, its pointing down, [see addl photo attached] is this coorect? Or should i turn spring around facing down? I had orig photos but deleted after i put new shoes on,
Adjuster will not turn up unless bar disengaged. It clucks as sprocket turns down. There is no fluid leak in brake shoes,assembly [yippee]
I got the cylinder off. Very dufficult to push plunger in. Only popped out if i pushed other side.
As opposed to new cylinder, which i could easiky push in on each side, and it would popp back out under own pressure. Nit sure if that was it, but there is,a definite difference in pushing in oressure and popping out pressure
Yes, i had to force them out by oushing through the other side. New one i can squeeze w thumb and middle fingervand it pops out freely

for anyone interested,, and if i am wrong, took short video of the wheel cylinder that seems to be stuck, i clicked on link and it seems to work,, tell me if I'm wrong, but that plunger should pop out quickly, in this case, neither wants to release,, have t push out from back side, new one was easy to push and popped out automatically,,,

power steering pump replaced, 85
oil pump gasket replaced,, TWICE?? 15
exh manifolds gasket replaced 25
starter replaced, 300
radiator replaced 450
axle gaskets replaced, 10
ignition key unit replaced, 15
ignition, wires, plugs, dist cap/rotar replaced 250
about 4 oil changes in a two week period during my hunt for engine noise and green color in the oil..... 125
transmission pan gasket changed,
seals on the driveshaft.
fuel filter replaced,,
drivetrain gear grease replaced.
im not even going to say or think,, what else could possibly go wrong,, hope to just ride for awhile
Throw in a crate engine and rebuilt TH-400 transmission plus a new front fender and driver's door and you are in my world. A guy I work with noticed that I drive vintage cars every day and said, " looks like you fix these things up to sell? I bet you make a lot of money that way!" I told him the only people that make money fixing up old cars are the guys who run the parts stores!
Expensive, definitely but thanks for helping our economy and keeping another great car alive.
I know it is frustrating but when you can finally enjoy the ride it is well, well worth it!

Oh, yeah sputter,,,, i put timing at 7.5, as was suggested, gonna see how that works, then, if not, its rebuikd carb, replaced fuel lines, pocketbook needd a little brake!

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up.
