My Deville Conv. Is currently being repainted.  Seems like a good idea to replace all the rubber seals: trunk, doors, top, bumper etc., when the car is put back together.  Any recommendations on rubber “Sets” or is this piece by piece thing?  Thanks for the input.

Steele Rubber is listed under the Parts Suppliers tab. I've used their products and they are good.

Steele Rubber Products - www.steelerubber.com
Rubber products NC 800-544-8665
PDF Catalog s available for specific year and body style Cadillac from their website.

Steele has fantastic product. You can also go to their website and down load a custom PDF catalog for your particular model year and body style. If nothing else it is a good guide for names of these rubber seals!

Rubber the right way.com   They carry alot of Steele rubber products, make their own, and are cheaper than Steele.

I think Rubber the Right Way can also provide a more complete package deal as I recall. If on a budget, like most of us, download the Steele PDF catalog, use it as a guide, and shop around on pricing. If I were buying everything I would shop around, but for an item or two I will go direct to Steele as I believe most of the rubber comes from them and if you have an issue with their product there is no 3rd party to deal with. I remember having an issues 10 years or so back with a door seal and called them and the response was immediate and had the correct item in like 2 or 3 days.

Thank you for the replies, everyome!

My reservoir is a little low. Any recommendations on my purchase of refill fluid? There are likely new fluids and I’d like to buy the right product. Thanks. Continue

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
