I joined the Carolina Region of the CLC, which is based around Charlotte and the western part of our state,  way back after they formed in 2001, however, much of my energy has been focused on the Eastern North Carolina Region since it was formed in 2006.  The CRCLC was in need of a webmaster to put a new website up, Facebook Page, and other IT related stuff, so I have volunteered to serve in this role. With my retirement, I can now more easily make the 3 hour trip from Raleigh to Charlotte and value my friendship with CRCLC President Travis Dowell and their members. In the coming weeks I will be building another Ning.com hosted website, and of course will use a lot of what I have learned from our 63/64 Chapter Website to build the new website!

Anyway, I just thought I would share this new Cadillac related adventure, and the latest Carolina Chronicles newsletter Which can be seen by Clicking Here.  As you can see we have a lot of events scheduled this year and can't wait to get Dino and Brutus to many of these meet-ups!  If you have not joined the Cadillac & LaSalle Club, and a CLC Chapter and/or CLC Region you are simply missing out on a lot of fun!

The January 2018 Carolina Chronicles Newsletter has been published and can be seen by Clicking Here

In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
