While the brake lights on my 1963 series 62 convertible do work, other drivers complain that they burn too dimly to be seen in daylight. Before I look for more complicated causes, can anyone tell me if there is a grounding point for them in the trunk?

64 Hey all, I'm in the process of having a guy fix the choke tube as I could hear a ticking under load like and exhaust/intake leak. Well my worst fear was realized and the intake is cracked.
So, I'm on the hunt for a good one. Anyone out there have one??

I know the 62 and prior won't fit, don't figure a 64 429 would either.

Beautiful skies and nice weather made great late Sunday afternoon cruising in the 1964 Cadillac with Cheryl, Priscilla and Presley. Video is on YouTube at http://youtu.be/Jyfy_ftr-qY

Check out the great collection of links to old car videos on the AACA site at http://www.tvraaca.org/oldmovies.htm#movie
Click the movie camera icon on the right to see videos. I didn't see any 1963 or 64 Cadillac videos (might be some embedded with other videos) but there's a ton of cool old ads, etc. Here's a 1964 ad for gasoline you will find: http://www.tvraaca.org/purei.htm

I am working on a 63 Fleetwood series 62.
Does anyone have experience gapping the doors and what is the procedure from point A to B, what is the starting point? I can not get them just right, I looked up the gaps they are to be 3/16 to 1/4. I started from the back doors and am trying to work my way to the fenders. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all. Been gone a while and suffered through a computer melt-down. What a pain in the posterior!
Well, I found another "old school" auto tech that was very familiar with the AC system on the old girl. It turns out I had a major leak at the STV(suction Throttling valve). We ordered an update kit for it off epay for $75. This thing isn't easy to get to as its stuck between the fender and hood hinges. I guess there's an access panel on the fender well that can be removed once you take…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
