I'm at 18 years on mine and feel I'm just getting started. About 1/3 I've yet to address and 1/3 I want to do over again! LOL Main thing is I'm doing it in my time and enjoying the process.
I think my project Eldorado languished for about 9 of those 15 years, still hard to find the time to finish up some things yet to do on it
ha ha, you are just getting started ! it really is so time consuming, every little item is a project in itself, the more you uncover the more there is to do, I thought I would just throw some paint on it and drive it around funny huh ! but in the end it sure is something you can be proud of doing right, so easy to stall out on the project, that's one great thing about this site........encouragement to complete and good information and parts and and and
about a 15 year project, also running a business, raising a family all the things of life, I was only going to get it up to driver status, but once I got started there was no way I could take shortcuts, I took it apart and put it back together, fits and starts and encouragement from others, the same I wish for you and all that restore these beautiful cars.
Good eye Jeff, but then if one doesn't have an Eldorado or doesn't know them well a buyer would not even notice these details, buyer beware ! I would still take the bucket seats though, You are saying that the bucket seat option on the Eldorado has a higher seat back? I didn't know that and thanks for that info as I am keeping my eyes open for bucket seats for my car

Hey! I’ve seen the 63/64 power booster and master cylinder combination has been covered very clearly. I’m in the process of replacing mine. I was hoping someone could give me insight on a specific…Continue

I meant to make this a priority over the winter and didn't get that far. I've tried to source all the parts individually, but that is a daunting task. Partly because I don't want to miss any…Continue

Hello, possibly looking a neutral safety switch for a 1964 Deville with the TH-400 and tilt steering. Also, possibly looking for an oil filter housing assembly for a 1964 429 motor. Starting to get…Continue

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
