Just posted some picture on my Classic Cadillac Parts FB page at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.440226109358436.93587.381...
If you need trim, etc off a 63 CDV email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com. My first priority is the 64 DeVille Convertible parts car but pulled some of the trim off the 63 CDV today.

On my interior the left arm rest has some wear on it, the rear package shelf looks kinda bad and have one button off my dover fabric inserts where in drive seat area. It also is now showing some wear from 10+ years of internittent use. I think I might have enough fabric left over to redo that section. The dash is scratched up in a few places..especially around the ignition switch. Most of the rest of it is pretty decent. It has original leather on all the bolsters except for center top section of rear seat. It was matched up. Prior/first owner had put seat covers on the front seat which helped protect the original leather. Yep..always another fix or upgrade opportunity. My car is on the 45 year plan. I've been working on it off and on for 15 years and if the lord willing should wrap it up in about 30 more years! LOL.
I actually just had my brake booster rebuilt pretty recently, but they didn't paint it so i'll have to go back and do that. Your interior looks pretty darn good already, but I look forward to see how you touch it up. I have to go through all those things that you mentioned, but I've got a pretty bad oil leak that needs to be addressed first. But if there was never anything to fix, where would all the fun be, right?
Hi Chris, The convertible is coming down piece by piece...doors are going on friend Les' 1963 Eldorado, rear interior is sold, but very nice hood, trunk lid and most other items are available. I've got 2 parts buildings basically full of tens of thousands of parts but do use the truses overhead and top attic in garage for storage also. I literally need a warehouse at this point. Next projects on my CDV will be to install the original rebuilt brake booster and master cylinder, some interior touch up, install the fender splash aprons, and toward the first of next year pull the dash out fo car to paint and go through the AC system.
How's the convertible coming along Jason? Your garage must be overflowing with Cadillac goodies.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
