Our Mission
The 1963/1964 Cadillac Chapter was formed to provide a proactive, inclusive and free club for all 1963 & 1964 Cadillac owners and enthusiasts and to promote social fellowship among club members. We encourage members to maintain, preserve, and restore 1963 & 1964 Cadillacs and to promote the development, collection, publication and exchange of helpful information.
As we go past 200 members signed up to our new 63/64 Cadillac Site I just wanted to stop and thank everyone for their support. It's been a fast paced couple of weeks getting the site off the ground and am glad we have a new, better place to call home. There will be some things that are quite different from Multiply, and some things people don't like..at first anyway, but I think once we give the site a chance there will be many things we like better! For me its been a fun process to move to our new site and it actually seems a bit liberating as Multiply had stagnated over the last couple of years. So in a weird way I'm glad Multiply is shutting down there hosted social networks, since it will force up to move on to something better.
I have tons of tech tips, notes, pictures, etc to move over, and will be uploading my stuff through Dec 1 and beyond. I will say there will be oppurtunity to come up with a better way to do some things than before at the old site. Everything we do and every improvement we make will not occur overnight, or in a week or even in a month but will take time. I've already been itching to make changes to the design layout (especially up top so we can put spotlighted cars up there) but for the coming weeks we will continue to get content uploaded and "kick the tires" and see how to best use the tools available.
While this site will always remain free for all 63 & 64 Cadillac owners and enthusiasts to join, there will be tighter integration with our parent Cadillac LaSalle Club and the 1963/1964 Cadillac Chapter, which hosts this site. If you have not already joined the 7000+ member Cadillac LaSalle Club be sure and click on the Join the CLC tab at the top. Speaking of the Chapter I am hoping to have the next newsletter out the first part of September and as always look forward to including your stories and pictures.
I will end by saying I feel very strongly about our Chapter Mission Statement above and hope all of you continue to help me build this into a great website and CLC Chapter!
Jason.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
