I just love finding stuff like these original Spark Plug wires on the 41K mile Fleetwood donor car I am taking down. Note the 'Packard Radio TVRS LR 4 Q 63' marking on it. Of course the date stamp indicates 4th qtr 1963. These look to be in really good condition and should clean up nicely. I am not sure if I will save for reference or use or sell. Either way, pictures will undoubtedly end up in the authenticity manual!

I'd keep them, just because they are cool.
Just one more comment, I took some pictures of them on the car and it really explains why you only have the 3 wire holder on the driver side as the #1 plug wire is really short (unlike the aftermarket sets) and goes straight down to the #1 plug bypassing the wire holder.

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
