Hey Logan,
just to make you feel a bit better about the winter blues I’m located in South Australia and at the moment it’s that dam hot here 45 c apparently the weather man says Adelaide was the hottest place on the planet today🥵 I don’t get to go for a cruise as you end up getting cooked in the car and I have AC. the sun here actually eats into you.I’m looking forward to n ext month as it should be a tad cooler around 30 c bring on march in the meantime I will be adding some Jason edge bling to the car
Hey Phil,
I love your 63 Caddy; it's beautiful. Want to take a trip to Australia just to feel a temperature above 15 degrees F.

Thanks for the compliment.Your more than welcome to come down under and defrost
Stunning color!
45c is about 115 f for us US folks, that is HOOOOOOOOOOT. I dont blame ya for leaving it in the garage!
Thanks for the compliment the colour is brilliant red with a slight metallic finish
I think I have had the busiest January and Feb in my life and glad you guys are posting pics of your cars in my absence! I have finally slowly started working on our next newsletter featuring Matti Roth's 1964 Four Window Sedan deVille. Here is a sneak peek of one of the pictures I will use with the engine out and front clip partially disassembled.
Wow! This is a ton of work.
I happen to have an extra transmission (thanks Jason) and know of a reasonably priced 64 429 that I want to pick up soon. The goal is to build an engine stand and completely restore a motor. Then when my 64 Fleetwood is ready for an engine swap, I have a newly rebuilt one sitting in the garage with a rebuilt trans!
I figure this is the best of both worlds as I can still cruise in my Fleetwood now and as time and money allows, rebuild a motor for fun!
Plus, who has a fully functional 64 429 on an engine stand?! Not many I'd say!

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
