This was definitely a fun one to do. Meeting Mr Payette and hearing his stories as a Sale Rep at Cadillac in 1963/64 was a thrill! I knew we had to feature his story. The thing of it is he is 80, sharp as a tack, and was there ... you just don't find that many people that were around during that time frame to tell us the ins and outs. If I knew then what I know I would be a Chuck Jordan groupie camped out at his door step.  For that that might not know he was the lead designer for the 1963/64 Cadillac and worked with Bill Mitchell and Harley Earl in the design of those late 50's and early 60's Cadillacs.  He died in 2010 and with him a vast amount of info on our cars.
