One great picture of your past and a nice thing to have in your future collection of 64 Cadillac photos
Some serious real estate your cruising around out there then —-and now
You were a young man to be sporting a Cadillac convert at 24 years old
My 64 convert was part of my life when I was about 21 and my Dads Cadillac at the time brand new
I was busy drag racing and breaking a track record in Super Stock with a 409 Chevy at that time
More than anyone else I do understand you needing to duplicate owning that Cadillac for all the joy it brought your in your youth
After my racing I got myself a 1962 Cadillac convert with optional then AC ( AC not common in the NY metropolitan area then ) —- all black exterior with a natural leather faun color interior I was about 25 and have never gotten over what a great experience than was until this very day
Being young with the success associated with owning a Cadillac at that time was an amazing experience ( mind blowing to many )
Dad had collected 6 or 7 fully restored early 60’s Cadillacs ( his personal collection ) and gave me the choice of which one I wanted which is right up there with the best possible days of my life
We have a lot in common regarding the joy theses Classic Antique Cadillac convertibles have brought us thru the years and young
These thought of my youth —— makes me feel warm and fuzzy — so thanks for that
Keep knocking them out wherever you take your outstanding ride —- just like the old days !
Actually it is even more exotic owning these great Cadillacs in 2023 than ever before and has always been a true BLAST OF A TIME to be doing
I think we should keep these Cadillacs around for a while ——don’t you ! ! !
Enjoy

I found a diagram that illustrates the main factor in determining a spark plug heat range that I was trying to describe to you during the chapter get together.
Here it is:
The main factor is the length of the ceramic insulator from the middle of the spark plug to the tip (where the spark happens)
The insulator…

Good Morning all!
I took the 64 into the shop to have some adjustments completed and in the process decided to have the lower ball joints replaced as was recommended the last time I had it in. I ordered the parts and came into the shop. They quoted me nearly $500 to replace those lower ball joints requiring nearly 4hrs of labor. Now this is a reputable shop and they know me by name here and they will continue to get my business. I am just questioning what on earth is…
