I have a very reputable blasting and powder coating shop near me, come this winter, I am thinking of getting my wheels power coated in preparation for new tires in the spring.

Is this a good idea? I am not sure how thick a power coating is or if it would change how the wheels mount to the hubs or how the tires mount to the wheels.

Curious if any of you have powder coated you wheels/rims and what the results were. Also, if you don't mind disclosing how much you paid for the service?

Thanks all!

Hi Logan, they can cover areas you don’t want coated if you’re concerned about a mating face. Or just use a flapper disc to take it back

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…

Hi all,

 I have a 63 series 62 convertible.

ran a wire from the tail/stop lights to this extra filiment in the fin light.

its the pink wire on the color diagram i have. purple on passenger side.

Any how, yes it works and looks great, during the…

Is there still a member in the Detroit area that refurbishes clocks?
