Trivia #28 - What Is It? What Does it Fit? Where Does it Go?

Looking at the picture (this is the back of the item): WHAT IS IT? WHAT DOES IT FIT? WHERE DOES IT GO?

Looks like a clock. Since it's on this site, it has to be from a 63 or 64 Cadillac. It clearly is not the dashboard clock so that leaves the rear clock for the Series 75 which would be mounted on the back of the front seat. If that is the case, this could be from a 65 Series 75 as well.

Kurt, Have a Big Cigar!
It is indeed the back of a Series 75 Clock, which according to the Master Parts Book was the same 1956 to 1965.  See front below the cigar picture.   This is one of two I have on hand and this one works great. You may see it go up on my Parts Page soon.

Well, the Westclox manufacturer mark should give a strong hint...right?

My guess is the rear compartment clock for the '63-65 limousine. And perhaps some earlier years as well.

OOPS: I didn't see the earlier replies.  Do I get Second Place?

You get a Pall Mall cigarette butt! LOL. Mom said her and her cousins use to climb out onto the roof and smoke her dad's Pall Mall cig butts!  You do what you gotta do as a teenager in the 50's.

Ha!  Love it!

But I do like that you included the picture...maybe a half cigar!

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
