I have a red (looks pinkish next to yellow in the picture) wire going to the back of the comfort control from the fuse panel with a 25 inline fuse. As always someone as added this on. I can’t find out why it would be there since manual and Tim Groves booklet says power is delivered through a yellow wire. All wires are accounted for from the books but this extra red wire that goes to this terminal. Any ideas?  Thanks Larry4179E613-706D-49F3-B686-737ED0D46064.jpeg

You should have a short red wire that comes up from around from the bottom at the amplifier assembly to the comfort control switch and plugs into the side. See pictures below for stock configuration. Someone as done some creative wiring your system.

Thank you for the pictures they help when trying to visualize the right placement of wires in the harness. When something didn't work the person had his own vision of how to fix things through creative wiring. The fuse box is a piece of art. LOL

Larry, Not sure if this would help  you out ... I think it would, but I usually sell the 64 dash harness including fuse box and all connectors for $100, but would do a super deep Chapter Member Discount and sell you one for $25.  I can ship to a US address for $15 for a total of $40. If needed to go to Canada I would need to look up shipping ... probably not that bad via UPS.  I would send a dash harness from an AC equipped car which would give you all the stock comfort control connectors. I would remove the fuses from fuse box and bulbs from the dash bulb connectors.  If interested shoot me an email to jasonedge64@outlook.com. I am wrapping down for a 1 week vacation after today until the 28th .... and could possible get one shipped today or tomorrow morning, or if not in a hurry after I get back. Just one option if you have a real wiring mess. It would at least give you a good guide.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
