Kurt, That was just me sticking a round black circle area inside as Don had suggested. When we do the polo embroidered shirts next year it's not going to matter since the black and white will be the color of the shirt. I also don't want a black center on the top website logo because I think it would be too dark...black circle, black outside of circle (to blend with header) and the black header. I could of course change the header but that leads to a lot of other things to consider.  Also, one other point, the brilliant people at PKD screen printing came up with the logo (sans the center black area which, again I just popped in there as suggested by Don) but am sure she could change the curvature of the whatever we needed.

It does look good. One thing that could be tweaked is to make the lettering in the words "Cadillac" and "Chapter" follow the same arc as the circle, like the CLC logo. The black center circle emphasizes that the arc is different.

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
