It’s located at the upper back end of the rear quarter window pocket.
I’m not fully sure about it’s main function, but it should also be the upper stop for the quarter window when the top is down.

Temperature gauge not working properly
The temperature gauge of my 63 Eldorado does not work properly.It goes slowly all the way up and stays there, while the true temperature is around 155-160 F (water in the radiator and/or the top of the thermostat housing).Where should I start to solve the problem? The gauge itself, the temperature sensor, or the wiring? Or something else? The sensor is a new (aftermarket part) and the thermostat worked fine when I tested it in a saucepan. Temperature gauge not working properly

The temperature gauge of my 63 Eldorado does not work properly.
It goes slowly all the way up and stays there, while the true temperature is around 155-160 F (water in the radiator and/or the top of the thermostat housing).

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
