Hi,the steering shaft of my 63 tilt steering column does not have any support at the lower (steering box) end (see the pic below).I think I have lost the felt seal shown in the manual (the lower pic). If so, I need one, so is there a reproduction available or does someone have a good used one? If the felt seal is just a rubber bushing, the measures could be enought. Measured on the column, the shaft seems to be 3/4” and the column (maybe) 1 3/16”. But how tall is the shaft?Many thanksSamu…See More

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Temperature gauge not working properly

The temperature gauge of my 63 Eldorado does not work properly.
It goes slowly all the way up and stays there, while the true temperature is around 155-160 F (water in the radiator and/or the top of the thermostat housing).
Where should I start to solve the problem? The gauge itself, the temperature sensor, or the wiring? Or something else? The sensor is a new (aftermarket part)…

Hi,
I really like the color combination of this 63 Eldorado (sold long time ago by Volocars).
The ad states aqua exterior and green interior but unfortunately there is no pic on the cowl tag.
Is the exterior color ’Frost aquamarine’ and interior ’Beryl’?
Or is the exterior green, ’Frost green’ and interior ’Emerald’?
