Just to help, this would be the lower skirt rim on the 1963 6039 (Fleetwood 60 Special) and 6367 (Eldorado Biarritz). Different from 1964 6039. I've got the 64-6039 lower skirt trim but not the 63-6039.

Can you send me pictures and price please thanks
I don’t have any ... just trying to help you locate the correct ones. :-)
Thought you had the 64 0639 was told buy Russ they are same

Bob, I do have the 64-6039. They are not the same. See Master Part Book #'s below. In fact all the lower body trim is different 63 to 64.

Bob, since you just want the fender skirt trim on your car, the trim from any year mentioned will work.

Bob,

I have one piece of the 1963-only Eldorado and Fleetwood 60S ribbed stainless fender skirt trim.  I think it is for the front portion of the LH side, but I'll have to get it out and check.  Send me an e-mail to faresmcmthelix@msn.com and I'll send photos.

Just to be clear, the 1963 6039 & 6367 Fender Skirt is a 2 piece skirt. the front small lower section is separate. The 1964 6039 skirt is a one piece skirt and is shaped differently. If you want the 1 piece 1964 6039 Skirt, I have the left driver side from an 41K mile 64-6039 I pulled in about a decade ago. The price is $75. I do not have the right passenger side.

For comparison

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Vintage Air AC

Posted by Chase on March 21, 2024 at 5:55am 0 Comments

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

accumulator dryer

Who rebuilds original AC  accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year ,  There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A    What  is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
