Hi all,
here are some parts under the hood of 64 Deville.
Do you recognize what they are?

I will not answer these since I dismantle these cars all the time, but will give two hints:
- First two pictures are not under the hood... that is, not in the engine bay.
- Third picture is of bolts I just reinstalled in my fix of Dino.
Engine, transmission, front bumper, grille, lights, floor mat and seats are removed. Parts could be related to any of those.
Nope, head bolts are much bigger diameter than these bolts. Here are some more hints:
- bolts in 3rd picture are 1/4" diameter and bolts I have had cad plated and you can see if you pop the hood.. well if you hold your head at the right angle.
- 1st pic is brake related
- 2nd pic is transmission related
park brake cable clevis
trans mount to frame bolts and plate
and engine lifter valley pan bolts
Ding! Ding! Ding! You guys have a winner.
Thanks Maurice!!!

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
