Stupid question of the day. I know that the 6 window sedan has an extra set of stationary vent windows in front of the B pillar, and the 4 window sedan just has the front vent windows. I have never figured out which windows they are referring to in order to come up with the 4 and 6 numbers. I know someone will ask me the question sooner or later when my car is displayed at shows as a 6 window sedan, and I really don't have an answer to that. It seems to me that the 4 window actually has 3 windows on each side, and the 6 window actually has 4,

Hmm, good question. My guess is that the stationary windows in the rear are considered "windows" and vent windows are not. Fleetwood 60 Specials actually have vent windows in the rear but that model is not a "6 window sedan".
Thank-you, Kurt. That's the info I was looking for. I did read the newsletter, but missed that important point.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
