I meant to make this a priority over the winter and didn't get that far.

I've tried to source all the parts individually, but that is a daunting task. Partly because I don't want to miss any parts.

Does anyone have a complete list of all the replaceable parts for a total and complete front end rebuild? I mean everything including bushings.

I have certainly googled this and there are about 1,000 "DeLuxe" or "Super DeLuxe" or "Ultimate" rebuild kits.

I want to best kit with EVERYTHING!

Anyone have any suggestions? Otherwise, Ill try to compile a list and but it all individually. That seems more expensive however.

Thanks!

Logan

Logan, a few of the other members mentioned Kanter Auto in one of the Zoom meetings. I think they have the best quality kits. They have a Super Front End Kit that I plan to purchase when I get to that point.

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
