One of the items I brought to our Chapter Meet-Up in Gettysburg last week was something sometimes installed on our 63/64 Cadillacs back in the day.   It has a sexy, some might say stimulating, brand name and thought this might be a good trivia question:

So ... What was the "Pleasurizer"?

Shocks I do believe!

Congrats to Logan for quickly answering the Sexy Trivia Question.  The Delco "Pleasurizer" was indeed shocks that were often installed in Cadillacs and other GM makes back in the day. See example picture below the Burning Man  picture!

Logan..... HAVE A CIGAR!!!!

Thank you! A great choice in music! Wish You Were Here is top 3 albums of Pink Floyd!

I am a man who enjoys the evening pipe or cigar as well, how fitting!

For extra bonus points, who sang “ Have a cigar”?

I knew it wasn't Waters or Gilmour and had to look it up, so I am not worthy of any extra credit. A true PF expert would probably know it by heart. Just to add I did see PF 3 times, however all 3 times were post-Roger Waters in '88 on the Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour and the Division Bell tour in '94. Two concerts were at NC States Carter Finley stadium, and the other time was at the Dean Dome (Dean Smith Center) in Chapel Hill. All were great concerts, and while they did not have Roger Waters, I always thought Momentary Lapse of Reason was pretty good.  The Division Bell maybe not as good as MLOR.

Have a Cigar is a rare one with a guest singer. I think there are only 1 or two other tracks that way

They just so happened to have one at the swap meet when I was digging through the Cadillac parts

Cool.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Vintage Air AC

Posted by Chase on March 21, 2024 at 5:55am 0 Comments

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
