Hi, new member here. I have a 1965 Cadillac limousine which is actually a 1964 body style carry-over. My question is: Was the 1964 body style placed on a 1965 commercial chassis? I'm wondering, because should I purchase a 1964 Service Manual or a 1965 Service Manual (or is there no differences between the two years)? Thanks. Jim from Worcester, MA

Excellent question. Unlike the 1965 75 series Sedan (body style 69723) and the 1965 75 series Limo (body style 69733) which retained the 1964 75 series body style, the Commercial Chassis cars were usually with the 1965 series front and rear clip, etc. See this link on the Cadillac Database for images: http://www.cadillacdatabase.org/Dbas_txt/prof6566.htm
As far as the shop manual, page 1-1 of the 1965 shop manual states "Refer to the 1964 Cadillac Shop Manual for service information pertaining to the Fleetwood Sevent-Five Sedan and Limousine other than that covered in this manual."

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
