2013 CLC Grand National Seminar - "Restoration of a 1949 Cadillac" by Joe Cutler
video has been uploaded and can be seen at this link: http://youtu.be/5AQZenHJ0l4
This was recorded in two files on may Kodak 1080P Play Sport and for some reason the audio completely dropped after 42 seconds into the 2nd segment and have been struggling to recover the audio since returning from the GN. Apparently there was a glitch in the file at that point and caused almost all video processing programs to drop the audio. I finally found a freebie program that was able to convert it. It has a bit of noise in the audio but you can hear it.
I really enjoyed this seminar as Joe covered the same issues we all face when restoring our 63's and 64's.
These speakers are to be commended and thanked for taking the time to put these seminars together and share their wealth of knowledge for our benefit. I do encourage everyone to attend seminars at future Grand Nationals and show your support for your fellow CLC Members and Speakers.
I will also post the video to our website here.

2013 CLC Grand National Seminar - "Cadillac History and Innovation - The First 50 Years" by Travis Washay
video has been uploaded and can be seen at this link: http://youtu.be/neCDZtDL41w
This was an excellent seminar and encourage everyone to check it out. Travis knows his stuff and the slideshow was very informative, especially for some of us that have forgotten some of the Early Cadillac History.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
