Happy Fourth of July to our Members
Happy Fourth of July for those of you in the USA and abroad celebrating our Independence Day.
I wanted to share a Red White and Blue picture that was Cadillac related and couldn't think of anything better than the fantastic cover of the current July 2013 with the Red, White and Blue 1953 Eldorados. (Of course 1963's or 1964's would have been very cool!).
With that said, check out the Cover below taken at last years Grand National and be sure to join the Cadillac LaSalle Club if you have not already joined. With the Red Hot focus on the 1963 and 1964 Cadillacs in the 50th anniversary year (not to mention we have a cool website and Chapter) there is not a better time to join the CLC and our Chapter. Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
